Roeland Donckers has over 20 years of hands-on experience in creating and growing finance solutions in emerging markets. He started an impact investment company that built in-house several SMEs from the ground up in agro(-processing) and light manufacturing; he began a microfinance company from scratch with a unique rural credit methodology and successfully exited after 5 years; and started and managed a TA business in parallel. In 2016, Roeland co-founded iungo capital to address the financing gap for the smaller SMEs in the East African missing middle. Roeland holds an MBA from IE Business School, a MSc in Behavioral Science from LSE, and a MSc in International Relations from Ghent University.
