-General & legal Representative for North and West Africa of Lloyd’s of London, the world’s specialist insurance and reinsurance

-Senior Advisor , Investors relations at Mediterrania Capital Partners, leading private equity firm dedicated to North and West Arica.

Najwa is a specialist in financial centers in Africa, having worked with Morocco, Mauritius and Rwanda (Kigali International Financial Center).
Prior to this, she was the Head of Business Development at Casablanca Finance City Authority (CFCA), a public-private held organization dedicated to positioning Casablanca (Morocco) as a regional financial center. Najwa structured the project from its Inception contributing to its overall strategy and development for setting up a regional business and financial centre.
Previously, she was Senior Manager within Mazars Financial Services Group in London. She was responsible for tax planning and structuring across the banking, insurance and funds sector.
Najwa took on that role after working within large international investment banks (Lehman Brothers/Nomura) within their EMEA equity
derivative business.
And prior to that she was in KPMG London where she was advising financial institutions and corporates in various consulting areas including tax, project and corporate finance.

Naiwa is involved in a wide range of Moroccan and African business networks and associations (ex Africa Expert Network, Women working for change of the Africa CEO Forum, LeanIn, We4She, Al Sahm Women etc.)

Najwa holds a Master’s degree in Business Management and Corporate Finance from leading French and British business schools (Kedge Business School & Aston Business School). She is a qualified CA, Chartered Accountant, member of both international accountancy and UK tax leading professional institutes (ICAS & ATT). She holds a certificate in leadership management from Harvard. She is also an alumni of the US Elite government Program, IVLP.

Najwa speaks fluently English, French, Arabic and Spanish. She has received a number of nominations and awards by various magazines or institutes as one of the leading business women in Africa (e.g. Choiseul Africa in partnership with Forbes Africa; Global Finance Awards; New African Woman Magazine, CA Magazine UK)”
