Mauricio leads the Blended and Innovative Finance team at SC Global Ventures, an entity focussed on accelerating change for children through innovative financing and scaling new technologies that offer hope for the future. Work includes expanding access to finance for grassroots businesses—including schools, Early Childhood Development Centres, and nurse-led health centres. It also looks to advance the use of insurance for anticipatory action and of innovation to increase access to vaccination. Further we are championing the developing the Child-Lens Investment Market to mobilize investment that prioritizes children’s needs.
