“Mr. A. Kundasamy is a seasoned diplomat and corporate leader with over 25 years of high-level experience across public and private sectors. He has served as High Commissioner of Mauritius to South Africa and the UK, where he played a pivotal role in forging strategic economic and political partnerships, including landmark agreements with SADC nations and driving significant growth in UK-Mauritius foreign investment.
His international leadership extended to conflict resolution and governance as Deputy Chief of Staff and Head of Strategy at the UN-backed Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission in South Sudan. In the private sector, he held senior roles at BAT Plc and Citibank, leading brand strategy and public affairs across Sub-Saharan Africa. Most recently, he served as Associate Partner at The Ambassador Partnership in London, advising on African public-private sector initiatives.

Known for his integrity, strategic foresight, and commitment to sustainable development, Mr. A. Kundasamy continues to contribute to global governance and economic transformation. Mr. A. Kundasamy assumed the role of the Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Development Board, Mauritius in May 2025.”
