Ketso Gordhan is currently the CEO of the SA SME Fund, the key institutional funder of Venture Capital Funds in Southern Africa. With R3.5bn of Assets under management and allocation to 15 VC funds it is a meaningful player in the Ecosystem. His previous experience includes working for the CDC, the UK DFI (now BII), as CEO of South Africas largest and listed cement producer PPC, managed the Private Equity Business of Rand Merchant Bank. He has experience in the Public Sector in South Africa having been the City Manager of Johannesburg and the Director General of the National Department of Transport and a brief sting as an Advisor in the Presidents Office.
