“Emma Ruiters is the Policy Lead for the Labour African Network, advocating for stronger, mutually beneficial UK-Africa relations. She is also a consultant in tech & digital transformation at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. She is a proud South African and Afro-optimist, with a specialisation in African international affairs and economics particularly UK-Africa and Japan-Africa, African digital economy, growth and industrialisation.
She holds two Masters in Development Economics and Japanese Studies from SOAS, University of London and the University of Oxford respectively.”
