Dr. John Siegfred Magalaya Shilinde is a Senior Economist at the Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF) and Lecturer in Economics at Moshi Cooperative University, Tanzania. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Dar es Salaam and specializes in agricultural economics, trade, and industrial policy. With over 15 years of research and consultancy experience, Dr. Shilinde has worked with UNDP, World Bank, GIZ, and government institutions on investment, trade, and climate policy. His publications focus on exports, foreign investment, and sustainable industrial development.
