Betsy is part of the Blended Finance Unit at Symbiotics and represents REGMIFA, a fund dedicated to supporting financial institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa, at the AFSIC conference. She previously held the position of Portfolio Manager after serving as an Investment Analyst for Latin America, where she conducted on-site due diligence and performed credit and social performance assessments. Before joining Symbiotics, she worked as a Credit Officer for MSMEs at Citibank and as an Associate at Moody’s Local, rating debt issuers in the financial and agriculture sectors. Betsy holds an MBA from ESADE Business School.
