Ahmed is an experienced business and digital-transformation executive with 12+ years across consulting, digital banking, startups, and media. He built large scale products from 0 to 1, and led enterprise programs at Emirates NBD (Senior Director, Digital Transformation), HSBC Middle East, and Deloitte. He now builds ventures and backs founders in Africa & the Middle East through the Dubai-based venture studio 35N, co-founding and investing in its first company out of Nigeria Atom Africa. Ahmed is the founder of the venture building forum Kua Africa. He invested in and backed Cube, Zanzibar’s biggest Innovation Hub (Tanzania). He also advised and mentored several fintech, agritech, and mobility startups across MEA startups, one of which secured investment from three Shark Tank Egypt judges. Ahmed previously built and launched a chatbot travel assistant (closed during COVID-19).
