Biography

“Ramez El-Serafy accumulates more than 18 years of experience in technology, investments, entrepreneurship and management. Ramez currently heads Flat6Labs and its regional and global expansion.

Flat6Labs is the MENA’s leading seed and early-stage VC firm, and the manager of the most renowned startup programs in the region. Since 2011, Flat6Labs has established presence in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Lebanon, Tunisia, Bahrain and Jordan with plans to expand into more locations in Africa and other emerging markets soon.

Before leading Flat6Labs, Ramez was responsible for building and managing the mobile app business unit at Sarmady – a Vodafone Company. Prior to that, he initiated and led the product design team at eSpace. Ramez also served as board member at the Global Accelerator Network between 2014 & 2016. He holds a B.Sc degree in Computer Engineering from Alexandria University.”
