Biography

Patrick is a core member of LeapFrog’s investment team, and drives investments across the African landscape.

Before leaping to LeapFrog, Patrick was Partner at Kingdom Africa Management, a pan-African focused private equity investment firm with more than $600 million in assets under management. Here, Patrick managed multi-million dollar investments from sourcing through to leading successful exits, working across diverse sectors including infrastructure, financial services, consumer products and agriculture. Prior to this, Patrick worked in the investment banking division at Bear Sterns & Co in New York, where he managed billion-dollar transactions.

Patrick holds an MBA from FUQUA School of Business at Duke University and Warwick Business School (Distinction). He also has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Cape Town, where he graduated first in class.
