Biography

She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accounts (ZICA). Mildred also holds a Masters of Business Administration from Herriot Watt University, a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree from the Copperbelt University and a professional accounting qualification, ACCA.

Currently a member of the Board of Trustees for the Zambia National Building Society and previously a member of the Board of Trustees for the Afrox Zambia limited Pension scheme.

With over 12 years work experience, she has worked across a number of sectors including, audit, housing finance and manufacturing. She has held various positions including Director Finance and Corporate Planning for Zambia National Building Society, Finance Director and Company Secretary for Afrox Zambia Limited and Senior Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). She also had a short stint with the Bank of Zambia.

In her role as Director Finance & Corporate Planning, has lead various initiatives to raise affordable funds for the creation of affordable mortgages. In doing so she has worked with a number of institutions including the African Development Bank.
