Biography

Lasitha is Chief Executive Officer at GuarantCo, the contingent credit solutions arm of the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG) funded by members from seven countries (UK, Switzerland, Australia, Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany) and the World Bank Group.
Lasitha joined GuarantCo in 2009, and prior to his current role was Chief Investment Officer with responsibility for the origination and execution of projects in GuarantCo’s focus markets of Africa and Asia.

Prior to joining GuarantCo, Lasitha was an Investment Director of Total Capital, a private equity fund, where he was responsible for new investments and represented the fund on the boards of portfolio companies in the UK and Nordic region. Prior to this he worked at Barclays Capital in London and New York in a variety of debt capital markets roles.
