Biography

Karin Kersten succeeded Dirk Brouwer as CEO of ASA International in June 2023. She joined the Group in October 2021 from ABN AMRO Bank where she had a distinguished career, most recently serving as Managing Director, Trade Commodity Finance. Karin is also a Member of the Supervisory Board of MondriaanFonds, supporting art and culture in the Netherlands. Karin brings a wealth of experience from the world of microfinance and is also actively engaged in empowering women through the work she does.
