Jussi is leading the origination and execution of Digital Infrastructure and Solutions investments at Finnfund.

Digital Infrastructure and Solutions (DIS) is a newly established team within the investment function. We invest in commercially attractive high impact businesses within the emerging markets digital value chain (Telecom & Tech), focusing on rural connectivity, access to data, and digital solutions such as fintech, e-commerce, and e-mobility.

Recent transactions include investments to East African wholesale telecommunications provider, BCS Group, Lebanese Telecom-ESCO company IPT Powertech, South African based financial technology firm JUMO World, and to a leading telecommunications operator in Iraq, Zain Iraq.

Prior joining Finnfund Jussi was a corporate finance advisor at EY and worked in various emerging markets investment banking roles at Standard Bank plc.  Jussi holds a master’s degree in finance from Durham University and a bachelor’s degree in international business.
