Biography

Aziz Chacha is has several years of executive leadership in banking. He is part of NMB bank executive leadership team responsible for funding and capital planning, Transaction Advisory, strategic balance sheet optimization and market risk management. Aziz Chacha has deep interest in the development of capital and financial markets in Africa. He holds an MBA from University of Manchester and is a certified Executive Coach.
Aziz Chacha is a Certified member of France-based ACI Financial Markets Association and holds based ACI Financial Markets Association and holds an MBA from Manchester Business School of the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Business and Management (PhD) from Strathmore University.
Aziz Chacha has a wealth of experience spanning over 17 years in Treasury risk management, Treasury technology, capital markets/ corporate finance, capital planning and balance sheet management. Prior to joining NMB Bank in 2011, Aziz was in the Management Team of Barclays Tanzania, as the Country Treasurer
