Biography

Jerome has over 17 years experience spanning emerging markets. For the last 3 years, he has managed the Baobab Growth Fund. A VC Fund focused on Namibia.

Jerome is passionate about the power of growth and venture capital in facilitating economic development and capturing new market opportunities. His extensive experience in finance, his work with early stage ventures and his own entrepreneurial background place him in a unique position to understand the dynamics of investing in developing markets and the kind of value a fund must add to mitigate risk and help build successful companies.

Jerome was born and raised in Namibia. He has a degree in Economics, an MBA and a Certificate in Financial Analysis and Investment Management. Jerome satisfies his curiosity and thirst for learning by doing.
