“Olasunkanmi Owoyemi is a visionary entrepreneur and business leader who has been instrumental in transforming Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited (SGCL) into a globally recognized force within the agricultural export industry. Starting his journey with guidance from his father at Sunny Owo Ventures, Olasunkanmi gained early exposure to business fundamentals in operations, finance, and strategic leadership.

In 2017, he leveraged his entrepreneurial insight and collateral from his father to establish SGCL’s export division, securing a substantial NGN490 million loan, and laying the groundwork for what would become a thriving enterprise.

Under Olasunkanmi’s direction, SGCL has grown significantly, capturing over 16% of Nigeria’s cocoa export market and exporting more than 150,000 metric tonnes of cocoa beans annually to prominent global chocolate manufacturers. His strategic acumen and deep understanding of international trade have been pivotal in solidifying SGCL’s role in the global cocoa supply chain.

Beyond cocoa, Olasunkanmi has expanded the company’s reach by developing additional ventures under the Sunbeth brand, establishing a diversified and innovative business group.

A proponent of sustainability, he ensures that SGCL maintains eco-friendly and responsible sourcing practices, setting an example for ethical business in the agricultural sector.
