“Jamille has been based in Southern Africa for the last 15 years. He is currently Chairman of a Southern African microfinance bank and an Adviser on activities in emerging markets to a multi-national that focuses on corporate restructuring and complex due diligence. Jamille is Chair Designate of the David Rattray Foundation (UK), which funds Khula Education in South Africa and is Deputy Chair of Conciliation Resources, a global NGO headquartered in London.

Jamille has 25+ years of professional experience primarily in capital raising, strategy, transformation and private equity investment. He has completed over 50 transactions mainly in UK, Continental Europe and Southern Africa.

Jamille spent his early career in sustainable development working in the mountains of Pakistan and London for the Aga Khan Development Network and in Bangladesh for BRAC. In his early thirties he took a break from the private sector when he was selected to be a civil servant for the British Government’s Fast Track Scheme.

Jamille was born and educated in the UK and is a graduate from the London School of Economics. He has a post graduate diploma in Accounting and Finance (ACCA) and an Advanced Diploma from the European Venture Capital Association.”
