Biography

Madleine Mwithiga is ADAPTA’s Africa MD and an experienced SME banker with over twenty years of leading operations in some of the leading banks in Kenya and the Region. She last held the Regional Head SME business role in Africa for Standard Chartered Bank. The bank awarded her Team as the SME global unit in 2017. She is a recognized manager and business developer and was responsive to triple the SME business revenue in Kenya. She has an extensive network of producers and Agri-SMEs in East Africa.

Madleine is completing a Master in Agribusiness specializing in climate-smart agriculture at Strathmore University in Nairobi, Kenya.
