Biography

Luís Rodrigues is the CTO and co-founder at QuickCheck, a digital lending company that uses machine learning to access credit risk. Before he was the CTO at Seedstars, a global organization focused on empowering entrepreneurs across Emerging Markets. Luis started his career as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Evora, Portugal. Later joined CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, where he was part of the team working on one of the Higgs Boson “God particle” experiments. While at CERN, Luis helped launch the first CERN spin-off company in robotics. He has a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Évora.
