Biography

Jade Bouhmouch is the co-founder of Ambo Ventures, a venture capital firm helping Africa’s leading entrepreneurs tackle climate change. He is driven by the knowledge that tackling climate change requires commercially viable innovation that is ready to scale now – and that African entrepreneurs are ideally placed to deliver this. This was what drove Jade to co-found Ambo Ventures after spending 3 years at Google, where he worked as part of the strategy and finance team in EMEA and helped launch the SDG Accelerator and Advisor programs.

Prior to this, Jade held roles in impact investing at Global Sustainable Capital Management and in investment banking at Merrill Lynch. He started his career as an entrepreneur in Morocco, where he is from. Jade is a CFA charterholder and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
