Biography

Guy Futi is an African venture builder.

He is the founder of Star Kitchens Group, technology provider catering to the needs of African restaurants and startups. He has worked for the JUMIA Group as a Managing Director, IROKO Partners as a Growth Manager, and was the founder of MAJI Water, a social enterprise with water alleviation efforts across the globe. He consults for the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and has a passion for entrepreneurship and advising startups on Doing Business in Africa.

He is currently pursuing a DPhil/PhD in Global and Area Studies – Africa at the University of Oxford where his research lies on the intersection of business, civil society, and governance.
