Biography

Daphnee Benayoun is an Associate Partner and heads Dalberg’s presence in Paris. She leads teams advising multilateral and bilateral organizations, governments, corporations and private investors on strategic planning, capacity building, and investment advisory with a particular focus sustainable infrastructure, sustainable mobility and energy, and their nexus with gender and climate. Amongst her most recent work in the e-mobility space more specifically, she has advised a global foundation on their sustainable mobility strategy, including developing insights and recommendations on their rural mobility strategy. She also recently advised C40 Cities and the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) to design and facilitate a dialogue between stakeholders related to electrifying ride-hailing services as part of a broader support to C40 cities in their efforts to transition to zero emission technologies for urban transport. More recently, she co-led with Laura Amaya a team working with the FMO Venture programme to conduct a market assessment of the e-mobility sector in Sub-Saharan Africa and parts of MENA.
