Biography

“Vinay started his career as a design engineer before moving into Supply Chain Management. He has worked with flagship international organisations such as Unilever, Coca Cola and Maersk, occupying key responsibilities across Africa and the Middle East.

Currently, Vinay is a Director at the Economic Development Board of Mauritius. Leveraging on his on-the-ground experience as a seasoned trade and investment professional, and having participated in major projects across the continent, his main ambition is to promote the economic diversification of Africa and to support the transition of African countries up the global value chain.

Vinay holds a Bachelor of Science in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, and a Master of Business Leadership from the University of South Africa.”
