Biography

Mr. Roland Laljee is an experienced marketer with over 15 years of experience in marketing, PR and cooperate relations. Having started his career in the public sector he moved on to work extensively in the private sector until this year joining the Seychelles Investment Board. He has experience in working in the manufacturing and beverages industry having worked in Seychelles Breweries which is owned by Diageo and is also the Coca-Cola bottler in Seychelles. He has also worked in the hospitality industry for both Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Marriott International. As the Director for Investment Promotion for SIB, Roland oversees the Investment Promotion Unit and all tasks related to the promotion of investments by SIB. The role is pivotal in ensuring that SIB attains all its strategic goals related to the promotion, events and cooperation functions.
