Biography

Preeti Gokulsing is the managing partner of John W Ffooks & Co’s Mauritius office. She graduated from King’s College University in London and qualified as a barrister in Mauritius. Preeti Gokulsing was previously Head of Legal for Barclays Bank (Mauritius) and Senior Counsel for Barclays’ regional team. She was responsible for the preparation of the facility documentation and the coordination with internal and external counsel in the various jurisdictions to ascertain the enforceability of cross border security from a local law perspective.
In her private practice, Preeti Gokulsing has worked for most of the local banks as external legal adviser. She has advised, as external legal counsel, numerous local and international private clients within the financial services sector .
