Biography

Paul Jackson is the founding CEO of TUHF and began his career in Development Finance at the Development Bank of South Africa, as an Agricultural Economist. He has overseen the financing of over R4bn of inner-city affordable, residential property developments and 44,000 affordable rental housing units. Paul has a wealth of experience in development finance and holds board positions with the Centre for Affordable Housing Finance (CAHF), and Divercity. Paul Jackson has previously held board directorships on the Mvula Trust, Alexander Social Housing Company, Johannesburg Social Housing Company and the Brickfields Housing Company.

Paul Jackson represented South Africa in Europe for rowing before his appointment as National Coach of the South African Olympic Rowing Squad. He represented South Africa for the Atlanta, Sydney, London and Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games – winning a gold medal at the London Olympics in 2012.
