Biography

“Ghannam has 14+ of experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital and Direct Investments. He spent the majority of his career in the Private Equity field where he managed a US$ 51mn private equity portfolio at Egypt’s largest private sector bank Commercial International Bank (CIB) including direct investments and funds.

Later, Ghannam played a pivotal role in the creation of CIB’s Corporate Venture Capital firm “CVentures””, as he was leading the strategy implementation and portfolio management activities in addition to leading the formulation and implementation of CIB’s expansion strategy in Africa which was translated into the establishment of CIB’s representative office in Ethiopia; the bank’s first cross border presence in Africa.”
