Biography

Mohamed Elakhdar is the Managing Director of Beltone Investment Banking where he provides advisory services for a full range of transactions, including mergers, sales, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, spin-offs, divestitures and other restructurings.
He brings over ten years of experience across various industries including healthcare, energy, transportation, aerospace & defense, consumer products, financial services, telecom, oil & gas, construction, and building materials. Notable transactions include, the private placement of a minority stake in Ibn Sina Pharma to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the sale of Al Shorouk Hospital to Cleopatra Hospital Group, and the Initial Public Offering of MM Group for Industry and Trade (MTI) on the Egyptian Exchange.
Prior to joining Beltone, he spent over six years as a strategy consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington D.C and Abu Dhabi where he led client engagement activities advising governments and major corporations on strategic transformation initiatives worldwide.
Mr. Elakhdar holds a B.S in Engineering from the American University in Cairo (AUC) and a M.S in Finance, summa cum laude, from the George Washington University School of Business. He also completed the Executive Leadership Program at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
