Biography

Milena Loayza is currently Head of Financial Institutions at BIO, the Belgian Investment Company for Developing countries. She displays more than 15 years of experience in the financial sector. She has been with BIO since 2012 and is responsible for covering direct equity and debt investment in financial institutions through the emerging markets in which BIO operates. Prior to this she worked in HSBC Bank in the Corporate and Investment Banking team. Ms. Loayza is an Industrial Engineer and holds an MBA from the Vlerick Leuven-Gent Management School in Belgium.
