Biography

Michael Akampa is an impact investment professional with over 14 years’ experience structuring, leading, closing and managing impact deals. He is the Co-founder of [Investure](http://www.investure.co/) and [Nobon](http://www.nobon.app/), impact and climate finance platforms. He was also the Co-founder of RE Equity Partners and Traction Capital, Sweden based investment companies active in emerging and frontier markets. Prior to a career in private markets, Michael worked in various key roles in the Treasury and Investment departments of local, regional and international banks where his knack for deal structuring was developed. With a Background in Development Economics, Michael also has advanced Masters degrees in Financial Management, and in Risk Analysis, and is currently a Doctoral Researcher in Financial Innovation at Stockholm University. He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, and the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
