Biography

Louis Lebon is an Investment Analyst for Sub-Saharan Africa at Symbiotics, an impact investment fund manager focusing on senior and subordinated debt transactions in frontier and emerging markets economies. Symbiotics manages an aggregated portfolio of USD 2.9 billion spread across 25 funds and mandates of which USD 440 million in Africa. The main investment focus is financial intermediaries offering financial services to micro, small and medium enterprises and/or providing access to primary goods of low and middle-income households. Additionally, Symbiotics is rapidly growing its portfolio of renewable energy projects and fintech companies.

Louis Lebon joined Symbiotics in 2019 at the Geneva head office and currently manages the investment pipeline of multiple Sub-Saharan countries (UEMOA, Nigeria, DRC, Cameroon, Madagascar). Louis holds a M.Sc. in Applied Economics at the University of Antwerp.
