Biography

Lilian is an experienced investor with over a decade supporting impact businesses in Africa. She is the Africa Regional Director for Grassroots Business Fund where she is responsible for the Africa strategy for GBF’s $49 million global mezzanine fund. She also manages GBF’s advisory services, impact measurement, and ESG compliance activities in Africa. Currently, Lilian is spearheading fundraising efforts for GBF’s first $25 – $40 million East Africa-focused fund.

Prior to GBF, Lilian worked as a Business Assurance Manager at Moss Adams LLP in Seattle, Washington and as an Associate at African Development Bank in Tunis. She holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
