Biography

Kauna Ndilula, a Development Finance Specialist, is the Founder and Managing Director of BFS Group of companies. Passionate about the development of financial ecosystems that support the growth of SMEs, Kauna has pioneered and developed financial and non financial interventions that have manifested as the cornerstones of her business and contributed to positive influence of policy in Namibia. She is in process of extending her business to other African countries.

Her demonstrable leadership skills in the social and investment space have impacted sustainable economic development across industries and structures in Namibia. As an invested corporate citizen, key influencer on public policy and economic affairs, she serves as the Chairperson of Sanlam Namibia Holdings, and as an Advisory Member of the Namibia Investment Promotional Development Board. She is the past Chairperson of the Nampower Board, and as a for member of the Presidential High-Level Panel and Planning Commissioner. Socially, she serves as a Patron of an orphanage and vulnerable children program (ToV) and as Director of the First Lady’s Foundation, One Economy Foundation.

She holds a Master of Development Finance (Massachusetts, USA) and an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch (SA).
