Biography

Karim EL HNOT is the Deputy head of the investment bank of Société Générale Maroc in charge of asset management activities and CEO of Sogécapital Gestion the asset management arm of the bank. Karim has more than 22 years of experience in the asset management industry. He was successively equity analyst, fixed income fund manager, CIO and Deputy CEO in major asset management firms in Morocco before joining Sogécapital Gestion as CEO in 2015.

Karim was the leader of a team that won multiple fund awards including the Lipper Award for Best Group MENA – Bond category in 2019 and 2020. He holds a BBA from “ESG Maroc” and an MBA from “Texas Tech University”.
