Biography

Jonathan Said is Head of Inclusive Growth and Sectoral Practices for Africa at the Tony Blair Institute. Prior to this role, he served as country manager for TBI in Liberia and as investment and agriculture advisor to the government. Between 2011 and 2014 he served as an economics advisor to Malawi’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, and between 2008 and 2010 he was an economist in Guyana’s Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce. He started his career in 2004 at an economics and business consultancy in London, the Centre of Economics and Business Research. He read MSc Economics at the University of Warwick.
