Biography

Jonathan CFA, has over a decade of experience in public equity markets, having managed portfolios investing in Frontier Africa, South Africa and Developed Markets. He is a portfolio manager and director at Adventis SA where he manages the Adventis Africa Equity Fund. The fund has a competitive track record and follows a bottom-up value-driven investment process with a risk control overlay model. Previously he co-founded Africa Merchant Capital Management which was subsequently acquired by Adventis. Prior to that he worked at Prescient Investment Management as a portfolio manager and analyst. He holds a BBusSci Quantitative Finance degree from the University of Cape Town and is a CFA charterholder.
