Biography

John Lentaigne heads up the Tysers credit and political risk team, a development-financed focused broking outfit focused on de-risking investments into emerging and developing markets. Tysers clients include many of the largest commercial lenders active in financing cross-border investments into Africa, as well as a number of the key development finance institutions operating on the continent. Prior to Tysers, John Lentaigne served as Acting CEO of the African Trade Insurance Agency (ATI) and as ATI’s Chief Underwriting Officer. John has over 19 years of experience in the credit and political risk insurance markets, as well as prior entrepreneurial experience. He holds a Master of Modern History degree from Oxford University.
