Biography

Jérôme de Chasteauneuf currently serves as the Group Finance Director of CIEL Limited, a diversified international group headquartered in Mauritius. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds an honours qualification from the London School of Economics. Since joining CIEL in 1993, he has been instrumental in the Group’s development and has been involved in multiple strategic IPOs, international expansion projects, mergers and acquisitions, and company restructuring.

In addition to his role as finance director, Jerome de Chasteauneuf is a board member on CIEL Group’s subsidiary boards, Bank One and CIEL Textile as well as the listed entities Alteo Limited and Sun Limited. He also sits as a non-executive director on Harel Mallac & Co. Limited’s board. On 18 December 2020, he was appointed as Independent Director of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius.
