Biography

Honourable Mahen Kumar Seeruttun was first elected in 2010 and served as Member of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) between July 2010 and October 2014. Since November 2019, Honourable Mahen Kumar Seeruttun is serving as Minister of Financial Services and Good Governance. Honourable Mahen Kumar Seeruttun is accredited in successfully leading the Mauritius International Financial Centre exiting the FATF grey list, and in achieving 40/40 on the FATF requirements in 2022. Honourable Mahen Kumar Seeruttun holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Finance.
