Biography
Grégoire Danel-Fedou joined Advans International (formerly Horus Development Finance) in 2003. As Deputy General Manager in FINADEV TCHAD, he developed skills in microfinance operations from different perspectives: design of credit products and methodology, commercial development, organization, supervision. His experience in microfinance was enriched in Myanmar (Burma), where he conducted a large scale Impact Study on a rural credit scheme. From 2006 to 2008 he worked in Advans International’s Investment unit, participating in the setting up and management of Advans SICAR and conducting feasibility studies for the creation of new microfinance institutions. He was Head of Operations from 2008, responsible for coordinating the Technical Assistance Advans International provides to the Advans affiliates, until his departure for Côte d’Ivoire in October 2011, to take the position of CEO. In five years, he developed Advans Côte d’Ivoire into the biggest greenfield institution of the Advans Group and into one of the leading and most innovative MFIs in the UEMOA region. He sits on the board of the APSFD (professional association of Ivoirian MFIs) and of Advans Tunisie. In June 2017 he was nominated Advans Group COO and promoted to Group Deputy CEO in January 2018.
