Biography

Farai Sambo is a Financial Officer in the IFC Treasury Client Solutions team based in London and focused on the EMEA region. As a financial market practioner, Farai Sambo has actively partcipated in IFC investments in some of the most notable bond issuances from African private sector companies globally. Farai Sambo has also led several capital market initiatives such as bond issuances and fixed income deal structuring in Africa, Europe and Central Asia. He brings a wealth of practical knowledge and insights as an investor and issuer to the panel. Prior to joining IFC, he worked in Southern Africa for a leading regional bank where he oversaw the trading of currency and fixed income instruments.
