Biography

After a successful career in consulting then entrepreneurship, Laure Djoukam is now working to develop and promote trade and investment opportunities in emerging markets as well as serving as a bridge between impact projects and her network of investors. She offers 20 years of leadership in the Finance industry along with entrepreneurial, forward-thinking mindset and demonstrated track record of accomplishments.

Mrs. Djoukam has worked as a consultant to various international development organizations conducting strategic analysis to develop priority sectors in West and Central Africa countries.

For 3 years she held a Program Manager role for the World Bank/IFC, facilitating financing for businesswomen through the GOWE (Growth-Oriented Women Enterprises). She successfully managed a “Financial and Technical Assistance fund” of several USD millions.

She totals 7 years’ of experience of impact investing in emerging markets and sits at the Board of Advisors of Shekina Invest, a boutique investment firm focused on Agribusiness, Real Estate Development, Clean Energy and Financial inclusion. She is the President of the Kellogg Central Africa Network; She became the First female Board President of AmCham Cameroon in July 2021.

Mrs. Djoukam holds a Master in Finance and Accounting from ESSEC, Douala and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, IL with specialization in Analytical Finance
