Biography

Dovina holds the post of Ag Director of the Financial Services Unit at the Ministry of Financial Services and Good Governance. Dovina joined the Ministry in June 2018 where the main tasks were to implement and devise new strategies to develop the financial services sector. She is responsible for the oversight of a team of analysts.

Dovina began her career at the State Bank of Mauritius as a legal officer before being appointed as the Company Secretary of SBM Holdings Ltd in 2014. Dovina has been actively involved with different departments of the banking sector. In 2016, Dovina joined the transaction advisory team of Ernst and Young (EY Mauritius).

She holds a Maitrise en Droit des affaires from the University of Reunion, a Post graduate in Cybercrime from the Asian School of Cyberlaw in Pune, India.

Dovina is also a Board member of the Financial Services Institute Ltd.
