Biography

Dolu Olugbenjo is the Chief Investment Officer of the Stanbic IBTC Infrastructure Fund and an executive of the Standard Bank Group. As CIO of the N100bn Infrastructure Fund, he manages investment capital for a diverse base of alternative investment investors seeking exposure to the infrastructure asset class. Before transitioning into Fund management, Dolu spent over 10 years as an investment banker at Stanbic IBTC Capital Limited where he raised over $5bn for corporate clients across different sectors of the economy. His transactional experience spans project finance, acquisition finance, expansion finance, and mezzanine finance.

Prior to his career at Stanbic IBTC Holding, Dolu Olugbenjo was with Ernst and Young LLP providing Transaction Advisory Services to clients in the financial services sector, automotive sector and chemicals sector. Dolu Olugbenjo has a first degree in Accountancy from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and a Masters degree in Business Finance and International Investments (Combined Hon ours), from Brandeis University, Boston Massachusetts.
