Biography

Caroline Chinhuru is a Senior Investment Officer on the Calvert Impact Investments team and has been with Calvert Impact since 2017. Caroline grew up in Zimbabwe where she experienced firsthand how fragmented capital markets and inefficient capital flows can significantly curtail community development. This experience led her to her current role where she now works to help structure and deploy capital with the goal of making impact investable. Caroline supports portfolio management and deployment across multiple sectors and regions with a focus on renewable energy in Africa. Caroline has a B.A. in economics from Macalester College and is a CFA. Caroline is also an advisor on MCE Social Capital’s investment committee.
