Biography

“Azeezah Muse-Sadiq is a partner of Banwo & Ighodalo (B&I), a leading law firm with offices in Lagos and Abuja. She obtained her law degree from the University of Lagos and also has a postgraduate diploma in EU Competition Law from Kings College London. Her core practice areas are capital markets, M&A and corporate restructurings, Islamic finance, taxation, consumer protection law and competition law.

Azeezah is an invaluable member of the firm’s capital markets team with more than seventeen (17) years of legal experience. She has advised on numerous debt and equity securities issuances and often engages relevant regulators in devising ingenious solutions required to facilitate complex and novel transaction structures. Her practice also encompasses a range of compliance, corporate governance and emerging companies matters in different sectors including fast-moving consumer goods, agriculture, banking and pharmaceutical industries amongst others.

She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the International Bar Association, the International Compliance Association and The BoardRoom Africa.”
