Biography

Ayòbámi Olúfadéjì is a practicing emergency physician and healthcare executive with over a decade of experience in building innovative care delivery models across global markets. He currently serves as the Managing Director of Global Health at Redesign Health, where he leads the expansion of Redesign’s unique venture-building model to emerging markets. Previously, he was the Vice President of Clinical Innovation at Carbon Health, where he led the team that developed new clinical models, notably their virtual primary care and collaborative care models. In an earlier role at Carbon Health, he was the Regional Medical Director for New Markets, overseeing the successful expansion of clinical operations into 11 new states and leading a team of over 200 members. Ayòbámi is also the co-founder of Digital Health Nigeria, a grassroots organization supporting the growth of the health tech ecosystem in Nigeria. As a Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School, he has received teaching awards and published research in reputable journals on topics such as emergency medical education and trauma care. Ayòbámi graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He received his MD and MBA from Dartmouth, graduating as a Tuck Scholar and receiving the Most Outstanding MD/MBA Candidate award.

Outside of his professional life, Ayòbámi is an amateur chef and food blogger, an avid traveler, and a sports enthusiast (read Arsenal and LeBron James fan).
