Biography

Alexandre Liege is the Chief Executive Officer of Cauris Finance, an impact-focused fund providing growth financing to best-in-class Fintechs in Africa. Alexandre brings deep industry expertise in Fintech and emerging markets, having launched credit and payment services in Africa, Latin America, and Asia. Before co-founding Cauris, he was the Head of Product and Credit at Juvo, a Fintech lender in LatAm and Asia. Before that, he headed business units focused on humanitarian aid and healthcare at Mastercard and was the product manager for YellowPepper’s mobile wallet, a LatAm start-up acquired by Visa. He began his career launching MTN Mobile Money services in seven African countries. MTN Mobile Money has since become a multi-billion dollar business. Alexandre holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from ESCE, a business school in Paris, France. He lives in France and California and is fluent in English and French. Alexandre grew up between France, Togo, and Benin.
